The pneumatic fan is an exhaust fan powered by compressed air through an explosion-proof pneumatic motor. It is widely used in ships, warehouses, chemical plants, paint workshops, gas stations and other flammable and explosive locations.
The fan consists of a pneumatic motor, fan blades, silencer, air delivery pipe and controller. Once connected to compressed air, it drives the blades to rotate; the speed—and therefore wind pressure and flow—is controlled via an air throttle valve. It is an electricity-saving, energy-efficient alternative to electric fans.
100% explosion-proof — compliant with international safety standards; runs 365 days with no heat and no sparks.
Pneumatic motor drive — strong power, excellent safety and explosion-proof performance.
Compressed air power — highly efficient and energy-saving; one air compressor can serve several fans.
Closed seamless design — protected from dust and insects.
Forward/reverse rotation — both suction and discharge; one machine, multiple uses.
Wide applicability — ideal for flammable, explosive, humid, high-temperature and highly volatile environments.
Multiple configurations — vertical, vertical shaking, wall-mounted and axial flow styles; stainless steel versions available on request.
Motor options — piston or time-piece pneumatic motors to suit different environments.
Housing options — stainless steel or carbon steel with electrostatic spray finish.
Blade options — one-piece stamped aluminum alloy or plastic blades.
Chemical and chemical plants, woodworking plants, spraying plants, warehouses, mining machinery cabins, high-temperature dust workshops, and other hazardous or demanding environments.
